Hello every one

Here you will find some necessary hints and good stuff to know to be able to use the new website to its fullest. Please click on the images under the explanation to enlarge them. Every picture has a number so it will be easier to find the right explication we do hope every one will understand and take advantge of the new search engine.

GCP´s new search engine is something that´s unique in the Volvo world. 

We have tried to create some sort of VIDA (Vehicle information & Diagnostics for aftersales) system for every user all around the world. And it works in two ways and we will try to explain them now.

• If you already have a part number then you only click on the search box in the upper right corner and start searching. (Picture # 1)

• If you don´t have the part number then you identify what typ of car you have and click on the car model picture below. But please keep reading and click on the pictures to get a better idea of how it all works together.

Picture # 1:  This is the first step. Just select the right car model. You can also see the search box on this picture

Picture # 2: The second step. Select you engine model ore manufacturing year

Picture # 3:  The third step. What type of part are you looking for? Select the right group like Brakes, Coolingsystem, Engine etc. You will also find the registration and login section on this picture.

Picture # 4 & 5:  The forth and almost last step when it comes to the searching on GCP.SE is to check under the parts list (Not the explode parts view but the parts list) there you will find all of the parts that we have on that particular page.

You will then see the part number, stock situation, name and price. If you find what your looking for just click any were on that line. You can some times find better pictures and explanations of the part.

Then just punch in how many you would like and we should almost be ready.

Picture # 6:  The fifth and final step is probably the easiest step. You just click on the shopping cart and chose your way of payment. Right now we only offer a secure payment whit credit card using www.dibs.se We will always send your parts the fastest way but are you in need of an Express shipments then e-mail us for a shipping quote before you place the order.

Hints for GCP.se

A rely important part and function on the new site is that you can easily find what more car models the part was mounted on. You will find this on almost every part. So just make a quick search if we have the part in stock. The next step is just to click on the drop down menu and chose what car model your looking for and click on the "show" button to get to the catalogues. (Picture # 7)
